St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center is now offering a new procedure designed to manage patients with heart failure: the CardioMEMS HF System. The implantable, miniaturized wireless monitoring sensor is the first and only FDA-approved heart failure monitoring device that has been proven to significantly reduce hospital admissions when used by physicians to manage heart failure.

For the 6th straight year, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center earned an “A” rating for patient safety from the Leapfrog Group, an independent hospital watchdog agency. As part of the PFF Care Center Network, St. Elizabeth’s will have access to a wealth of resources for both patients and caregivers and will collaborate with 39 other sites making up the Network across the country to advance the care of people living with pulmonary fibrosis (PF).
