St. Elizabeth's 24-Hour Emergency Room

St Elizabeth’s offers patients some of Boston’s most advanced imaging, including the city’s only 256-slice CT scanner to provide more accurate diagnosis of a variety of medical ailments.

When it comes to a stroke, every second counts. St. Elizabeth's Medical Center is proud deliver a high standard of stroke card, resulting in a certification as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission and national recognition by the American Heart Association (AHA) for the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus with Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll. St. Elizabeth's is one of only two hospitals in Massachusetts to receive the Elite Plus level.
