St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center Physicians Named to Prestigious 2015-2016 Best Doctors in America® List

BRIGHTON, MA – Jan. 5, 2016 – St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center is proud to announce that more than 50 members of its medical staff, representing a broad spectrum of expertise in specialties including cardiac surgery,  cardiovascular disease and orthopedics, have been named to the Best Doctors in America® List for 2015-2016. Only five percent of doctors in America earn this prestigious honor, decided by impartial peer review.

“The inclusion of our physicians across more than a dozen specialties speaks to the broad array of expertise our physicians have perfected throughout their careers. While a badge of honor to be included among the “Best” in America by their peers, this kind of accolade also signals to our patients and to our community that we are providing the highest quality of care and expertise. Our physicians are masters of their craft and the benefit to patients and their families is immeasurable,” said St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center President Beth Hughes.

Best Doctors has earned a sterling, worldwide reputation for reliable, impartial results by remaining totally independent. Doctors cannot pay to be included in the Best Doctors database, nor are they paid to provide their input. The List is a product of validated peer review, in which doctors who excel in their specialties are selected by their peers in the profession.
