Meet the Radiology Team

The exceptional radiologists of St. Elizabeth's Medical Center's radiology department work as a highly integrated team with our group of highly qualified radiologic technologists, sonographers, nurses and support staff of the department to provide the best patient outcomes.

Eric D. Schwartz, MD, Chairman of Radiology

Sr. SchwartzDr. Schwartz received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his Radiology residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was Chief Resident from 1998 to 1999. Following a Neuroradiology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Schwartz held faculty appointments at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. During that time, he received grants from the NIH as well as private foundations, focusing on advanced MR imaging of spinal cord injury. Prior to arriving at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, he worked at Shields Health Care Group here in Massachusetts. Dr. Schwartz is certified by the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Additional Qualification in Neuroradiology.

 

Hemlata Daryani, MD

Dr. Hemlata Daryani received her medical school degree from M P Shah Medical School. She completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and a fellowship in MRI imaging at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Her areas of specialization are in MRI − body, musculoskeletal and neuroimaging. Her special interests are prostate MRI and dynamic pelvic floor imaging.

Ashley Davidoff, MD

Dr Davidoff completed his diagnostic radiology training at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He also has several years of training in cardiac medicine, having served a senior internship in adult cardiology in South Africa, a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, a fellowship in pediatric cardiac pathology at Harvard Medical School, and a two-year fellowship in cardiovascular and interventional radiology. Dr. Davidoff has worked at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center since 2002. His interests are in cardiovascular and interventional radiology as well as abdominal radiology. He has presented several award winning educational modules at national radiology meetings combining the science and art in radiology.

David L. Lee, MD

Dr. Lee graduated from McGill Medical School in 1980. He completed a medical internship at Toronto General Hospital, radiology residency at Mount Auburn Hospital and fellowship training in Body Imaging at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in 1985. Dr. Lee is vice chair of the radiology department. His interests are in chest radiology, lung cancer screening and interventional radiology. Dr. Lee is a clinical associate professor of radiology at Tufts Medical School.

Geetanjali Kapoor Kulkarni, MD

Dr. Kulkarni completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago in 2006 and a neuroradiology fellowship at Duke University in 2007. She is board certified in diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology. Her special interests include neuroradiology, breast imaging and body imaging (CT, MRI and ultrasound).

Phoebe Olhava, MD

Dr. Olhava graduated Harvard Medical School in 2000. In 2005, she completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and began working in the St. Elizabeth’s department of Radiology. Dr. Olhava is the director of the breast imaging section. Her special interests include women’s health and oncology imaging, including PET/CT.

Christine C. Segal, MD

Dr. Segal graduated from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in 2002 and completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at Tufts Medical Center in 2007. She completed a fellowship in MRI at Tufts Medical Center, which included time at Brigham and Women’s Hospital focusing on breast MRI imaging and interventional procedures. Dr Segal’s interests include, but are not limited to, breast imaging (mammogram, US and MRI) and breast interventional procedures (US and MRI) as well as musculoskeletal imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI and US).
