Lindsay M. Arnold, Pharm.D, MPH, FCCP, BCPS
PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director
Director of Pharmacy

Dr. Arnold is the Director of Pharmacy Services and the PGY1 Residency Program Director at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center followed by a PGY2 residency in Adult Internal Medicine with an emphasis in Cardiology at Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to this position, she served as a clinical specialist in internal medicine, cardiology and anticoagulation. Her research and quality improvement interests include the impact of patient education on hospital readmission, specifically in heart failure and myocardial infarction, venous thromboembolism prevention and management and transitions of care. She serves a reviewer for Pharmacotherapy, Annals of Pharmacotherapy, Endocrine Practice and Cardiovascular Therapeutics. Currently Dr. Arnold serves as an active preceptor for the PGY1 and PGY2 administration rotations and the elective rotations in Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Mirembe Reed, Pharm.D, BCPS, BCCCP
Cardiology Clinical Specialist

Mirembe graduated with her PharmD from Northeastern University in Boston and completed a PGY1 residency at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, DE and a PGY2 in medicine with emphasis in cardiology at West Virginia University Hospital. She works at St. Elizabeth’s as a clinical pharmacy specialist in cardiology and serves as a preceptor for the Cardiology II rotation. She loves to dance, make new connections and spend time with loved ones.

Dr. Adah K Lau, Pharm.D
Clinical Pharmacist

Adah received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences - Boston. She completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at Tufts Medical Center (formerly Tufts-New England Medical Center) in Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently a clinical pharmacist at Steward St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and also serve as the preceptor for the Internal Medicine rotation for the PGYI Pharmacy Practice Residency Program.

Joe Osborne

Dr. Joseph C. Osborne, II, PharmD, MHA, DPLA
Pharmacy Operations Manager

Joe received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan in 2020 and Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2022. He completed a two-year Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 2022. Joe’s clinical practice interests include emergency medicine, psychiatry, and population health. He has a passion for continuous quality improvement, a just culture that emphasizes patient and team safety, pharmacy regulatory and practice advancement, and data-driven population health medication stewardship. Joe serves as a preceptor for the PGY1 and PGY2 administration rotations.

Dr. Kayla McFarland, PharmD

Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - SICU

Dr. Kayla McFarland attended the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2021. She completed her PGY1 and PGY2 Critical Care pharmacy residencies at ProMedica Toledo Hospital/ Russell J. Ebeid Children's Hospital in Toledo, Ohio, in 2023. Dr. McFarland serves as the pharmacy preceptor for the surgical intensive care unit. She enjoys reading and hiking with her two dogs in her free time.
