Due to increasing burnout among physicians nationwide, SEMC psychiatry department has developed a Resident Wellness Committee. This resident run committee is intended to focus on promote resident well-being, encourage work-life balance, prevent and identify burnout; and providing resources to accomplish those goals. In addition, with structured lectures throughout the academic year we aim to provide residents with the information that will serve them well throughout their residency and future career.
