Perception and Understanding of Complex Oncologic Surgery: Chart Review Study to Develop a Database Library for Patients with Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Cancers

Study Information:
Participants data will be collected from their medical record and entered into a secure database. Participants medical records will be reviewed annually until they complete their treatment course.
The data collected from your medical record will include the following:
- Demographic information, such as your age, gender and race
- Medical history
- Physical exams
- Pathology results
- Laboratory test results
- Imaging (CT or MRI scans)
- Operative reports
Purpose of Trial:
The purpose of this research project is to develop an ongoing database library of patients with hepato-pancreato-biliary cancers, treated in the Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Division of the Department of Surgery at St Elizabeth’s Medical Center, to be used for future research.
The goal of this database includes learning more about cancer in our hepato-pancreato-biliary cancer population, increasing our research program and improving our knowledge about our quality and cost process; while meeting Commission on Cancer mandates for good practice in complex oncologic surgery.

Inclusion Criteria
- Age >/= 18 years.
- Patients with patients with Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Cancers at St Elizabeth’s Medical Center
Exclusion Criteria
- Individuals who are not yet adults (infants, children, teenagers)
