St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center Division of Vascular Surgery Welcomes Scott G. Prushik, MD
St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, a Steward Health Care hospital and teaching affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine, this month welcomes board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular surgeon Scott G. Prushik, MD.
Dr. Prushik joins St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and Steward Medical Group in the Division of Vascular Surgery at St. Elizabeth’s in Brighton, Massachusetts. Dr. Prushik joins exceptional surgery and vascular surgery teams at St. Elizabeth’s led by Frank Pomposelli Jr., MD, chairman of the Department of Surgery.
Dr. Prushik, who completed his vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester and surgery residency at Boston University Medical Center, specializes in endovascular surgery, peripheral bypass surgery and carotid and aneurysm surgeries. A graduate of Boston University School of Medicine, he also specializes in dialysis access as well as upper and lower extremity bypass surgeries.
Dr. Prushik is certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Massachusetts Medical Society. He has published numerous articles and abstracts in prestigious medical journals and presented before the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions, Academic Surgical Congress, the New England Surgical Society and more.
