St. Elizabeth’s Movement Disorders specialists provide state-of the-art evaluation and comprehensive treatment for patients with Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson’s-like conditions. Our movement disorder center provides EMG directed botulinum toxin therapy to relax facial or neck muscle spasms that occur in dystonia and other conditions.
Our board-certified neurologist is a fellowship trained in Movement Disorders, is a faculty member at the Tufts University School of Medicine, and offers many advanced therapies, such as deep brain stimulation for Parkinson's disease, generalized dystonia, and tremors that are ordinarily available only in major academic medical centers.
But what truly sets us apart is the dedication of our multidisciplinary medical and neurosurgical specialists, and physical, speech and occupational therapists. They work closely with one another and with every patient, family and referring physician to provide the highly individualized, compassionate care for which St. Elizabeth’s is known.
